Day 1 Visit Panda Base and Wuhou Temple
In the morning, at 07:30am, the driver and the guide pick up you from the hotel and drive you to the Panda Base to see cute pandas. The Giant Panda has its habitat exclusively in China. It is known worldwide as a rare treasure, a symbol of auspiciousness and friendship and a messenger of peace. The Chengdu Panda Base has not only dedicated itself to giant panda conservation, but has also made great efforts to combine natural scenery and man-made landscapes to create wonderful and humane living areas for giant pandas, red pandas, and other Chinese endangered animals. You spend almost half day at the base and leave at 11:30 am normally. And the driver drives you to Wuhou Temple.
In the afternoon, maybe at 12:30pm, you arrive at the Wuhou Temple which is a memorial temple for Zhugeliang who was a famous and great prime minister in the three kingdoms period. You can have your lunch on the street outside the temple which is called Jinli Street, a quite traditional style street in Chengdu.
In the evening, you can choose to watch the Sichuan Opera which begins at 20:00pm and end at 21:30pm. You can drink the chinese tea while enjoy the splendid traditional performances. One of the highlights is face changing, the unique skills in the opera which may bring your exclamation of surprise. It can only be booked in advance to keep the seats for you. And the admission charge is 150rmb per person.
Day 2 Visit Leshan Giant Buddha for 1 Day
At about 07:00am, the driver will pick you up from the hotel and drive to Leshan. You can appreciate the beautiful scenery of west Sichuan Plain on the way. After about 2 hours' driving, you arrive in Leshan to visit the Giant Buddha which is 71 meters in height, carved out of the cliff in the Tang Dynasty. The Statue is a well known tourist attraction of China and the most magnificent scenic spot in Leshan. You can visit the Grand Buddha by walking up to Lingyun Mountain, or have a very close to see the Buddha by walking down the zig narrow around the Giant one. You can also take a boat to vist. Drive you back to Chengdu at about 17:00pm in the afternoon. Send you to the hotel.
