Day 1 Visit Panda Base and Wenshu Monastery
In the morning, at 07:30am, the driver and the guide pick up you from the hotel and drive you to the Panda Base to see cute pandas. The Giant Panda has its habitat exclusively in China. It is known worldwide as a rare treasure, a symbol of auspiciousness and friendship and a messenger of peace. the Chengdu Panda Base has not only dedicated itself to giant panda conservation, but has also made great efforts to combine natural scenery and man-made landscapes to create wonderful and humane living areas for giant pandas, red pandas, and other Chinese endangered animals. You spend almost half day at the base and leave at 11:30am normally.
After lunch, drive to visit Wenshu Temple, a monastery which dates back to the Tang dynasty, is Chengdu's largest and best-preserved Buddhist temple. Originally known as Xinxiang Temple, it was renamed after a Buddhist monk who lived there in the late 17th century. The most completed Buddhist temple in Chengdu City. Also you have chance to have special food there. Drive you back to hotel in the afternoon.
